Resource Management PlanIn Loyola Senior High School, the Coordinator's Office is where our workplace inspections took place. The workplace was secured from hazards though in some area's, a further inspections will be needed. Hazards which were current in the office include physical hazards as well as electrical hazards.
The physical hazards which were present includes the poor height of desk and chair which has a major affect on your posture and can cause back strains if no control measures are being noted. Another physical Hazards which was present was the height of the microwave on top of the refrigerator. Although, some of the teachers height are tall, however, the constant reaching higher and on the tip of there toes may cause strains towards their body having a negative affect.
The hazard below is extremely dangerous as an electrical power point is only meters from liquid substance and can have a negative affect once they connect. Workers can be electrocuted if extreme precautions aren't being put into place. This power point should be place further from liquid substance such as water and in an area where workers wouldn't be physically injured such as below knee level.
Another hazards found was the blinds which covered the sunlight from entering the room. The room wasn't receiving enough light and the outdoor weather was cloudy, meaning there wouldn't be a problem with sunlight if the blinds were up. Not enough light room in the room can cause problems with your sight and may cause headaches. It is very important to ensure all rooms are receiving enough light and the room is altered to ensure the isn't too much light.

There were a few dangerous, electrical hazards which were present in the office, these includes many of the electrical wires to be tangled around each other which can cause the wires to become frayed without noticing it.
In addition, there was a hole in the wall which seemed to be unprofessionally less careful of its position. A wire hanging out which looked useless tangled into a knot can cause a further larger hole when someone accidentally pushed hard onto the wall.
Below is another hazard found during our inspection, where the telephone wire is hanging in front of a cabinet while a trolley blocks it from opening the cabinet. The wires on the floor is dangerous as someone may fall because they aren't looking at where they are going. The cabinet should be cleared of any objects in front to ensure workers have a clear way of opening the cabinet.
